Enjoying marijuana and watching movies go hand in hand. Especially if one has a good sofa and a serious TV screen. And, above all, if one has some good grass. And a great movie, like Star Wars.

This film has inspired numerous breeders when naming their recently created hybrids. The ways of grass are mysterious, and this film has probably inspired more names of cannabis creations than any other. These are just some of them. May the grass be with you.

1. Skywalker

We wonder how George Lucas would fight this copyright infringement. Sorry Lucas, it's cannabis, and good stuff. The Skywalker strain is a hybrid between a female Mazar, i.e. a Princess Amidala, and an Anakin Blueberry. This parental combination gives it a very high concentration of midichlorians.

2. Skywalker Kush

This already begins to get complicated. The good Luke Skywalker, after defeating the emperor, went on a tear in the Ewok village and really rolled in the spores, with an OG Kush. Ocean Grown, plus Skywalker midichlorians to yield a powerful and productive strain, of predominantly Indica origin.

3. Master Yoda

Most of these galactic varieties come from Los Angeles. The force must run strong there. What is clear is that one of the most popular from Star Wars in that region is the Master Yoda, a cross between OG Kush and Master Kush, which won a prize for best hybrid at the High Times Cup in 2012. “Do or do not. There is no try.”

4. Death Star

This little creature comes from a cross between Sour Diesel and Sensi Star. It is a powerful Indica resembling that to which it refers: the Death Star. A bud the size of a moon capable of destroying planets. Careful.

5. Dark Side

Master Yoda warned him but… Young Skywalker person fell into the grips of the dark side. This dark side of the force is the result of none other than Skywalker OG and White Widow. This combination was supposed to be brilliant… but turned out quite ... dark.

6. Darth Vader OG

Movie history's most famous Sith Lord could not be left out, along with that daunting "da da da da da da da da da" music. This Indica hybrid, featuring Kush and Afghani, also has the power of its master Sith Lord, and its appearance, with dark purple tones. The dark side of the force is intense in this strain.

7. OG Wan Kenobi

But what is the deal with Star Wars characters and OG Kush? Or, rather, what is it with Los Angeles breeders and Star Wars? Nobody knows how many times they've been crossed, but there is the good OG Wan to guide Skywalker OG.

8. Jedi OG

More OG and more ways of the force to explore. In this case the Jedi order has created this mostly Indica hybrid, resulting from a cross between Death Star and SFV OG. An Indica alliance that has conquered the Death Star.

9. Chewbacca

Apparently in L.A.'s “medicinal” marijuana facilities a strain called Chewbacca can also be found; also featuring Indica, and also from the OG family. It seems that all these Star Wars strains are descendants of Skywalker OG. We wonder if this is some covert operation by the Empire to distract us. Well, we'll never know.
